Hello Everyone!
Tomorrow is my
24th birthday, but since it is my family's annual Easter Eve party (blog post
to come on this!) I will be going out to dinner on my “Birthday Eve”. The
restaurant I have chosen to celebrate at is Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant. I like to call it the "Cracker Barrel for
Adults" because they sell super cute wine EVERYTHING in the front of the
store, similar to how Cracker Barrel sells country bumpkin-y merchandise at
their locations. Aside from shopping,
you can get a nice pre-dinner buzz on by participating in a wine tasting or two
or three... Once you get your table, (takes forever since they do not take
reservations, so drink up!) you can check out their menu which ranges from
steak and seafood to burgers. I have had
both ends of the spectrum and both are delicious. Not only do they have great variety, but they
are very accommodating of specific dietary needs (i.e. gluten free, dairy free,
etc.). An additional bonus feature of
the menu is each dish has a wine paired with it that goes best with your meal. Did I mention their dessert is to die
for? Cheese cake and crème brûlée, FTW!
All in all, Cooper’s Hawk is a great dining experience for date night,
girl’s night, families, birthday, anniversary or really any other reason to
drink really yummy wine and enjoy scrumptious food!
